From the Founder

Hey Bird Gang 👋,

I’m Abhirup, founder of BrandMov. I’ve been running paid ads for years, first for my own side projects and then for a few friends’ brands, and one thing kept killing my weekends: research. Every campaign started the same way. Open a competitor’s Meta Ads Library tab. Copy a hook into a doc. Scroll another 400 ads. Try to guess which ones were actually working. Rinse and repeat for every brand in the vertical.

I built BrandMov because I got tired of the loop. What started as a personal swipe file for tracking DTC ads turned into a full marketing suite once I realized the same people asking me for the swipe file also wanted help writing copy, launching campaigns, and tracking what was working after launch.

How Did BrandMov Come About?

The first version was a scraper and a folder of screenshots. That was enough for me. Then a friend running a skincare brand asked to see my “process,” and I realized the process was 90% research and 10% execution. Everyone in the space was selling execution tools, and no one was solving the research bottleneck honestly.

So I sat down over a stretch of weekends and built the thing I actually wanted: a searchable feed of the ads that are running right now, a way to save the ones that inspired me, and later, the ability to clone one into my own brand’s style and ship it to Meta without leaving the app. It’s the loop I run every week, packaged up.

What Problems Does BrandMov Solve?

If you run ads (or write them for clients), you’ve probably hit at least three of these:

  • Research is manual and slow. Meta Ads Library is a search box on top of a firehose. Finding the good stuff takes hours you don’t have.
  • You lose the good ideas. Great ad on Tuesday, gone by Friday. No bookmarks, no notes, no way to compare it against something you saved last month.
  • Copy from scratch is intimidating. Staring at an empty ad set at 11pm after your day job is a bad way to write a hook.
  • Tools are fragmented. Swipe file lives in Notion. Ad manager lives in Meta. Copy lives in ChatGPT. Nothing talks to each other.
  • You can’t tell what’s actually working. Vanity metrics dominate. Watching whether a competitor’s ad is still running after 60 days tells you way more than any dashboard does.

How Does BrandMov Solve This?

BrandMov is one app with six pieces that work together:

  • Swipe: 2,000+ curated DTC brands, thousands of live ads, filterable by angle, format, and how long they’ve been running.
  • Watchlists: pin any brand and get notified when they push new creative or retire old ones.
  • AI Ad Clone: pick any ad in the library, feed it your brand, and get a launch-ready version in your voice with your product shot.
  • Meta Ad Manager via MCP: build campaigns, ad sets, and ads through Claude/Chatgpt. No more tab juggling.
  • Short Links + QR: track every click on every creative, including offline and print.
  • MCP + Ad Brain: the whole suite is exposed as a Claude / ChatGPT MCP server, so you can spin up campaigns from a chat prompt. Every mutation runs through the Ad Brain first (see below).

The Ad Brain

This is the piece I’m most excited about, and the piece most tools don’t have.

Most ad tools are dumb pipes. You ask them to publish an ad, they publish it. If your copy has a phrase that will get you disapproved, they don’t tell you. If your budget change will nuke the learning phase you just paid for, they don’t tell you. If you’re about to hammer a cold ad account with a burst of edits that will trip Meta’s security checkpoint, they’ll cheerfully let you do it and lock the account for a week.

The Ad Brain is a growing corpus of hard-won rules that sits between you (or your AI agent) and Meta. Before any campaign, ad set, ad, or budget change goes live, it gets checked. Things it currently catches:

  • Copy landmines. Em dashes, banned phrases, the words “Meta” or “Facebook” inside creative that runs on Meta, missing price tags on cheap offers.
  • Creative fatigue. When frequency, days live, and CTR decay say the ad is done, the Ad Brain flags it before you keep spending on a dead creative.
  • Learning phase resets. Budget changes over 20%, adset restructures, audience swaps — anything Meta treats as a fresh start gets a warning with the receipts.
  • Zero-delivery diagnostics. Cold account? Just did an edit burst? All-green but no impressions? The Ad Brain knows what’s actually a problem and what’s a known 24 to 48 hour pause.
  • Account-safety lockdown. If Meta ever flags your account, the MCP self-freezes for 7 days so your agent doesn’t retry into a permanent ban.

How’s BrandMov Going?

BrandMov is live and growing. Since the first public build, 100+ marketers, founders, and small agencies have signed up and are running the swipe library, the watchlists, and the ad clone flow inside their own workflows.

Where things stand today:

  • 2,000+ brands and their live ad inventory in the library, refreshed continuously
  • 100+ users actively browsing, saving, and cloning ads every week
  • Paying lifetime-deal customers across three continents shaping what ships next
  • MCP support for anyone who wants to drive from Claude or ChatGPT
  • A public swipe surface at brandmov.com/swipe that anyone can browse

The lifetime deal exists because the roadmap is moving fast and the price will not stay where it is. You lock in every feature I ship, forever, at today’s number.

What’s on the Roadmap?

Everything on this list is either shipped, in flight, or committed:

✅ Extension to save your ads when you are browsing facebook

✅ More ingrained ad performance tags

✅ Bring-your-own domain for short links

✅ Google Ads library alongside Meta

✅ Give more visibility to your performance on the dashboard

✅ Improve the Ad clone feature more to better mimic your brand

Why I Built This for Solo Marketers First

I know what it’s like to run ads without a team. No creative strategist to bounce ideas off. No junior to hand the ad manager to. No agency retainer to fall back on when you’re stuck.

BrandMov is the tool I wish I’d had two years ago. It’s built for the person who has to be researcher, copywriter, media buyer, and analyst in the same evening. If that’s you, the lifetime deal is a real bet on your side, not a gimmick. You pay once. You keep every feature I ship, forever.

Hi Abhirup, I am curious about your product. Every business/project I have launched I have rarely used paid advertising if at all, possibly because I have been mainly in the service sector (and self funded). The one thing I have consistently used is SEO (mostly done by myself), and I don’t consider myself very good at it, but I managed to make it work somehow.

I have thought about paid advertising in the project I am working on at the moment, as online conditions are getting more and more competitive. So, I would like to know:

1. Is your product purely for paid advertising and is it only for Meta paid advertising?

2. All the examples I see are for brands and physical goods. So, I am wondering if this could be applied to the service sector?

3. Can this be used in B2C education space?

I look forward to your response.

Thank you.
Ryan

Hey let me answer your points one by one.
1. We have started with Meta as the first live platform, and Google ads is work in progress at this moment.

2. We have 2 folks who use it entirely in the service sector segment. Most of them work with brands and physical goods, so that why the base is tailored towards that. We have a brand feed with around 100 brands that is curated and tailored for service sector companies (IT and agency related companies). We modify the feed based on the customer.

3. Yes definitely, the whole product is agnostic to your sector.

Hope this answers your question. If anything else comes to your mind, please shoot me the question at [email protected] or just reply to this.

Hi Abhirup, Thank you for the quick reply. Google Ads or Google PPC is something I have used much more than Meta (in the past). But I am considering Meta. You mentioned in your copy all future updated will be included. So, can you confirm that Google Ads will be included for people who buy lifetime deal via EarlyBird? Thank you.

Hey Abhirup,

Considering Tier 3, and I’ll be honest about how I’d use it. I’m not interested in the cloning, launching, or short-link side at all. My use case is purely research: connecting BrandMov to Claude via MCP and having it dig into competitors and big players in my market, pull hooks, spot which ads have been running longest, and flag what brands are changing. Basically creative inspiration and competitor intelligence, Meta and would like if you consider Tiktok in the fututre. I currently use TrendTrack MCP to connect to Claude to do the same Brandmov does atm.

A few questions before I buy:
1. Library depth. The deal page says 500+ hand-picked brands but your main site says 3,800+. Which is current? More importantly, can I research brands that AREN’T in your curated set? If I know a specific competitor’s name, can the tool (and the MCP) pull their live ads even if they’re not one of the hand-picked brands? Or am I limited to only the curated feed?

2. MCP research depth. I’ve seen the TrendTrack + Claude workflow where people build angle saturation maps, avatar maps, and hook databases from live ad data. Can BrandMov’s 66 MCP tools do the same kind of analysis for Meta? Specifically: brand teardowns, hook/transcript extraction, and identifying which angles a brand has retired vs newly ramped up?

3. Winner detection. Can the MCP tell me which of a competitor’s ads are actual winners (e.g. based on how long they’ve been running or a scoring signal), so Claude can prioritise those in a teardown? Can we also find more about what changes the brands are making in their ads by “watching” the competitor and understanding and tracking their ads and changes they have been making similar to what this company https://www.rivalads.io/ does?

4. Google Ads. I saw Ryan’s question above but it wasn’t fully answered. If I buy the Tier 3 lifetime deal now, is Google Ads support included for free when it launches, or will it be a separate add-on and also wanted to know about Tiktok?

Appreciate the straight answers. Cheers.

Hey,

Straight answers below.

1. Library depth. 3,800+ is current, that’s every brand we’ve scraped and indexed. We will update the 500+ copy to reflect the current state. But you’re not limited to curated. The MCP has a search_ads tool that live-queries the public Meta Ad Library for any brand you name, hand-picked or not. So if you drop a competitor’s page URL or brand keyword into Claude, it scrapes their live ads on demand.

2. MCP research depth. Yes to all three.
– Brand teardowns: watchlist_strategy returns positioning, angle mix, format mix, hook patterns for any brand you’re tracking.
– Hook/transcript extraction: we OCR image ads and extract copy hooks.
– Retired vs newly-ramped angles: watchlist_angle_shift compares two windows and tells you which angles a brand killed and which they’re leaning into. That’s the exact use case.

3. Winner detection. Yes. Each ad carries a scoring signal (buy/hold/hook/click, 0-100), estimated ROAS, an active/inactive flag, and start-date, so Claude can rank by “how long has this been running” or “what’s the highest scored active creative” in a teardown. For the Rival Ads-style tracking, watchlist_diff gives you a delta over any window — new ads launched, ads killed, ads still running — and watchlist_angle_shift adds the strategic interpretation on top.

4. Google Ads and TikTok. Google Ads is on the roadmap, and Tier 3 onwards will have it. Tiktok is not on the immediate roadmap, if more people ask, I might ship it. Google will go live in about 10 days.
Any other questions, please drop a mail at [email protected]. Also you can just mail me your requirements and we will ship it if it aligns with our roadmap.

Cheers,
Abhi
