Hey there! I’m Kathir, co-founder and CEO of HuntYourTribe. 10+ years of exciting journey filled primarily in Startups building B2B, B2C, C2C products as technologist.

I have always been fascinated with hiring and scaling teams in startups. Looking for multidimensional  Ownership-Driven, Generalist Mindset, Product Enthusiasts, Curious Learners is challenging because I thought, resumes are templated, limited, offline and mostly outdated. We believe personal websites far better to validate people. So we asked “Why are portfolio websites and hiring systems not deeply connected?”

In our recent user interviews, One founder mentioned , “He had 1500 applicants from Linkedin Job posting. He was struck and screened only 200 resumes. He was guilty of not screening 80% and admits that he overlooked many qualified ones but he doesn’t have choice today as ATS is 100$/user/month”

1. Since this is AI powered I have to ask how is data collected analyzed by AI ànd how is candidates data protected ànd not used by AI for training ànd for governments ? When I see AI products Im always concerned about data privacy and protection because most tools connect to cloud models instead of local offline models which means data is always shared with these AI companies even if it’s sensitive data like information on people.
2. If candidates have to create profiles on the platform etc that sounds like it will be time consuming for them, most candidates lose patience when they have to create profiles on a platform with their info ànd end up bouncing and not continuing their application. Do you have an easy apply option instead where we can create a faster application process for example just upload their cv, add their name and answer 2-5 questions ànd submit instead of creating a profile ?
3. Since you are offering a lifetime deal ànd your company just recently launched what guarantee do we have you will not shut down In a few months?
4. Çan companies create custom domain application pages ?

Thanks for your detailed questions! Here’s how we handle each point:

1. How is candidate data handled and protected from misuse by AI models or governments?
We take data privacy extremely seriously. Candidate data is never used for model training, and we don’t store sensitive information without purpose. Like many modern platforms, we leverage secure APIs from OpenAI and Google for certain AI features but only transiently and in compliance with their data usage policies (no training on user data). We also plan to progressively move toward self-hosted and open-source models as we scale, giving users more control and keeping everything in-house. Your trust is non-negotiable.

2. Won’t candidates drop off if they’re forced to create a profile? Can we have an Easy Apply option?
Great point and something we’ve thought deeply about. After speaking with multiple recruiters and startup teams, we found that a little friction helps filter out low-intent, mass-apply candidates who often spam job boards using AI tools. That said, we’ve designed the flow to be modular and if a partner prefers a lightweight CV + quick-question route, we can absolutely support that. In fact, we’re already exploring an “Easy Apply” toggle per job posting.

3. Since this is a Lifetime Deal and you’re newly launched, what’s the guarantee you won’t shut down in a few months?
We understand the concern. Startups do carry risk but we’re not a weekend project. We’re a fully committed team of engineers building this full-time with a long-term roadmap. The LTD helps us bring early supporters onboard and fund crucial infrastructure. While no startup can guarantee indefinite success, we’re building transparently, in public, and actively growing a strong community. You’re not just buying a tool, you’re betting on a committed team you can talk to directly.

4. Can companies create custom domain application pages?
Not yet—but it’s on the roadmap and prioritised for upcoming releases. We’ve already scoped the architecture for white-labeled career pages and subdomain routing, so once it’s live, we will notify in all channels.

1. What is the privacy protection of user data on your platform, is it GDPR complaint, what about AI connected to your platform is users data shared with these connected cloud models like GPT? if so that is a major privacy red flag especially since your platform collects candidate info which is sensitive in nature about that person who they are etc. If not you should consider using offline local models to do any candidate analysis of data uploaded to protect user data being shared with AI cloud models like GPT or Gemini etc.
2. Do you have an options for candidates to quick apply; upload their CV, add name and answer 3-5 questions max instead of making candidates go through many steps? many steps in an application process = less candidates who apply from what I have noticed
3. What is your sustainability for the long term financially?
4. Can jobs posted be embedded on our sites via iframe?
5. Can this be used for companies and recruitment agencies?
6. For candidates that we like can we do assessments in the second round for candidates we like?

2. We have got option to upload cv to auto fill experience section, to make candidate flow seamless. We are also planning to bring import from linked option as well. Also you have control over how many questions you want to ask as well. Quick apply has both pros and cons because it attracts bot, unqualified profiles into the list.
3. We are have closed list of companies we are working with. We are incurring low infra cost and we are doing good in terms of busiess

5. Yes. both can be used. We support Mult-org, so that hiring agencies can work with multiple clients and switch seamlessly
6. As of now, we are not focussing on assessments flows. But we would be happy to hear out your use cases on assessments and see how we can solve
