Hey there! I’m Viktor Surkov, founder and CEO of buzzabout. My journey into the world of AI and social media insights started with a simple curiosity—what if we could truly understand what audiences actually care about?

I’ve always been fascinated by how online conversations shape consumer behavior, trends, and brand perception. But I noticed a major problem: agencies and marketers were relying on surface-level metrics instead of deep, data-driven insights. That’s why I built buzzabout—to give strategists, marketers, and agency leaders the competitive edge they need.

 

How Did We Come Up with buzzabout?

I’ve been an agency owner myself, collaborating with top marketing agencies in Europe, and I’ve seen massive inefficiencies and an overreliance on “gut feeling” in decision-making. That seemed wrong to me, and I decided to fix it for everyone. Agencies and marketers were spending countless hours manually scrolling through Reddit, TikTok, and Twitter, trying to piece together audience sentiment, emerging trends, and competitor strategies—so I built a solution to change that.

A tool that automates the process—one that analyzes real discussions at scale and delivers actionable insights in minutes. Instead of gut feelings, agencies and marketers now have AI-powered clarity on what matters most to their audience.

    Very promising as a social media marketer and reduces the time spent on research!

    I must say it’s an excellent tool. So far, it has been very promising as a social media marketer. Ex: For my client Carbstone (a 100% recyclable and CO2-negative building block), I have already found many useful insights on Reddit (a goldmine for target audience research, by the way) and LinkedIn. I’ve gathered insights on the topics they discuss the most and the subjects that receive the most positive attention.

    The interesting and important bullet points that are automatically displayed are also very helpful, making it easy to respond to them. Additionally, the AI chat function automatically generates engaging questions and follow-up queries. Questions i was thinking about: For instance “How can content showcase the environmental impact of carbon-negative construction?”

    This greatly reduces the time spent on research, and I’m very excited about it so far. I look forward to seeing what this tool will bring us in the future!

The plans have changed in general. So it’s not comparable to T1 that was 9 months ago and T1 that we have right now.

I would love to.
For example, those users, who purchased LTD 9 month ago, today received new feature, that allows them to build charts based on social media data at no additional cost.
But for some features, that cost as a lot in infrastructure cost, we would have to sell additionaly, such as Audience Research.
But also audience research is a bad example since we assigned also unlimited Audience Researches to our early supporters 🙂
But the main idea here is to preserve us some right to limit access to some features that are very expensive for us to run.

The last question was posted on 13 November, and there hasn’t been any response from the Buzzabout team. I am wondering whether they are being notified when a potential customer submits a question on EarlyBird.

I’d also like clarification on what the following statement means for LTD buyers”All future updates of the product will be available for Earlybird customers, but some features that require recurring costs will be considered on a feature-by-feature basis.”

I’m hoping the Buzzabout team can clarify this soon, as I am interested in purchasing the deal.
