Hey Bird Gang 👋,
About Me – Mas here 👋, founder and ceo of Queue. I’ve been a coder since I was 12 years old. I originally learned how to code because of World of Warcraft where I would create add-ons and websites for people to make extra income. This helped pay the bills and college. I grew up in Bangladesh until I was 6 and moved to the USA. Being a first generation immigrant was tough, but I was able to turn my talent for coding into a business from a young age to help out the family. Building something that lets you turn your talent into a business is what drives me to continue building Queue.
How did we come up with Queue? Hey bird gang! I originally built Queue to help my friend who had an Overwatch coaching business. I hired him to help me rank up. I would record my games, send it to him using Dropbox, and then he would give me an excel sheet back with timestamps and comments, along with an invoice to pay. This routine got really annoying, so I built him a way to leave comments with drawings directly on the video and send me the video back with a paywall so I have to pay to view it.
He loved it and shared it with his friends and it took off from there. Along the way, we got really popular among video agencies. And I started to build additional review tools like website reviewer, image reviewer, audio, and even live websites. Eventually the product grew with marketing teams, designers, video editors, other creative fields. So we doubled down on that. And decided to continue building products for agencies and eventually we came to what Queue is now. The only platform an agency will need to run their business and give their clients an amazing experience.
What problems does Queue solve?
If you’re an agency or freelancer, you have to glue together over 6 different softwares to get up and running. One for storage, checkout, feedback, project management, referrals, etc. And they gives clients a terrible experience, stifles scalability, and they’re not built for agencies selling services.
How does Queue solve this problem?
We built an all in one platform for you to launch and grow your agency. A white labeled platform that integrates with your website to add payments, client portal, and project management. And everything else in-between that helps you grow.
Everything on Queue is tied to each other. Client missed a payment? The taskboard is automatically disabled. And on top of that, we take delivering work to the next level with click-to- comment capability on any type of file or live website. We built a systematic way of running your entire agency using a single platform that’s scalable and intuitive for your clients to understand.
How is Queue going?
We started Queue in 2020 as a humble review tools for videos. In summer of 2020, we
did Y Combinator and raised a $2.1M round, which helped us grow a small, but solid
team. Since then we’ve added many new products such as support for any type of file
or website, payments, white-labeling, client portal, and even an integrated referral
program. When we first started, we made Queue a $9.99/month product. Then
$19/month. Then $49/month. And in 1 month we will make it $99/month.
What’s on the roadmap?
A LOT. We’ll be building anything you’ll need to run your business. That includes
integrations, sales tools, growth tools, customization capability of the taskboard and platform, and so much more. We release updates almost every 2 days. Sometimes it’s major features and sometimes it’s small changes that makes a big difference in the long run. We’re builders. And we’ll continue building. Here’s our current roadmap:
